This past April (wow...that was a while ago), I got to my car in the lot at Logan Airport to find !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . This was just a couple months after having been !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! after someone stole my mirror.
Well, I’m happy to report that after some back and forth with MassPort, getting quotes from body shops (that are only open during normal business hours...when I’m working), signing appropriate forms with MassPort, waiting for a check, scheduling the repair a month out and running around !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the FoST is back. It’s nice and shiny, too.
They wiped it down inside and out. Shiny all the things!
Yeah, no. They fuckin’ used Armour All on the floor mats so on the drive in I was sliding off the pedals. I currently have the driver side mat at my desk with some paper towels and Lysol desk wipes, cleaning this shit off.
Yeah, I emailed them about their error. Got a response acknowledging and that they’ll inform their detailers, so there’s that.
Anywho, yay FoST. I am actually very happy to have it back and ready to spool up that turbo. Next up, dashcam installation.

Oh god, now I’m paranoid that mine (currently in the body shop) will get armor-all’d. I HATE Armor-all. Makes a car look cheap and greasy.

Call and make sure. I was appreciative of them wiping it down cuz I basically let it get bad on purpose with the intent of having it detailed once fixed but the floor mats? Come on guys.

Much better than the Maaco I just had my bumper and rear hatch touched up at. Those fuckers basically sprayed the entire inside of the car with silver paint, it’s on the seats, shifter, steering wheel. The fuckers even left a puddle of stadning water in my husky liner rubber floor mats. And they did a fucking shitty job of sanding and painting the rear bumper and the panel gap they were supposed to fix they just moved the hatch too far to the other side.
I am heavily well connected with the TN auto auctions and the largest independent used car retailers in the state. The GM of the branch nearest my home is dealing with the whole thing for me because I am too pissed to handle it.
